Steve Charlton
Co-founder · Cape TownSteve is a solutions consultant who is happiest with a messy problem to solve. Over two decades in financial services and fintech, most recently at FNZ, he has delivered platform implementations, migrations and enhancements for major wealth and investment businesses in the UK, South Africa, Australia and beyond. He now co-founds Backyard Singularity with Melusi Malaza, turning ideas into products.
Melusi Malaza
Co-founder · JohannesburgMelusi is a senior business analyst who turns complex financial-platform requirements into software that works. Over 10 years he has shaped trading, treasury and wealth platforms at FNZ, Investec, Sasfin and FNB. He now co-founds Backyard Singularity with Steve Charlton and builds products for the South African market.
